Job Description
Overview 
Facilities Technician. Dublin. Full time. This role is at Ireland's largest foodservice provider, Sysco, and involves maintaining the Dublin Distribution Centre, supporting environmental initiatives, and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of employees. The role requires experience in a similar logistics/storage business and understanding the issues of managing a multi-temperature facility.
Key Accountabilities- Deliver a high-quality maintenance service to operations, ensuring maintenance works efficiently, effectively and safely.
- Provide maintenance support, enter data, update equipment records, and participate in continuous improvement.
- Electrical and mechanical trouble-shooting.
- Electro-mechanical repairs to high-speed, PLC-controlled plant, handling and packaging equipment, including pneumatic and hydraulic control systems.
- Technical support for the plant facilities and services, including compressed air and refrigeration systems.
- Performance of preventative maintenance routines.
- Update the maintenance management system (CMMS), recording all changes, store transactions, and work carried out.
- Responsible for completion of planned work and daily input of all works onto CMMS.
- Possess relevant trade qualification (Mechanical / Electrical / Automotive).
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role in a regulated manufacturing environment (POST APPRENTICESHIP).
- Possess mechanical and electrical maintenance experience and/or qualifications.
- Excellent awareness and experience in relation to Quality, Health and Safety.
- Be familiar with planned preventative maintenance.
- Experience in fault finding and problem solving.
- Flexibility with shift rotation and travel.
