Job Description
Facilities Supervisor - Ferndene Hospital 
Join Our Team as a Facilities Supervisor at Ferndene Hospital.
We provide Facilities Support Services to a mental health and learning disabilities trust. This part time position (30 hours) pays pro rata at Band B (£15.13 per hour).
Responsibilities- Oversee daily facilities operations, ensuring high standards across Domestic Services, Catering, and Portering.
- Manage staff scheduling, performance, and development.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, hygiene, and COSHH regulations.
- Coordinate cleaning, food service preparation, and catering activities to meet service standards.
- Oversee cashier duties, operating a till and managing financial transactions.
- Pay at Band B (£15.13 per hour)

- Experience working in catering or cleaning.
- Experience in a supervisory role.
- Experience with cashier duties and operating a till.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident decision making and good organisation.
- Sound knowledge of food preparation and food service.
- In depth knowledge of hygiene and health and safety legislation, including COSHH.
- Customer care awareness.
- Able to meet the mobility requirements of the role.
- Recognised catering or cleaning qualification such as NVQ Level 1 and 2.
- NVQ Level 3 supervisory qualification or equivalent.
- Health and Safety qualification.
