About the roleAn opportunity has arisen for an experienced Facilities Manager to join our team here in Manchester.
Reporting to the Head of ICT and Accommodation Services you will be responsible for the provision of an excellent Internal facilities function, which includes all aspects of accommodation, building security, health and safety, and facilities services in the workplace.
You will be responsible for all aspects of facilities management and accommodation matters, including lease arrangements, sub-letting, project management, building work/maintenance. In addition you will be responsible for all environmental procedures, initiatives and polices and sustainability reporting.
To be successful in the role you will have experience managing, coaching and supporting a team enabling high performance. You will have proven success, delivering against agreed targets and quality standards. Drawing from previous experience you will ensure all legislative, regulatory, policy and procedures are adhered to, meeting the requirements of PHSO.

The written statement should cover no more than 2 sides of A4 paper in font size 12, demonstrating why you think you are suitable for the post, and using examples to show how your knowledge, skills and experience meets the requirements of the person specification. Any of the competencies may be tested at interview.
