Facilities Director

Silver Tree Residential, LLC is a property management company seeking a dependable, quality-focused and experienced Facilities Director for our 147-unit senior apartment community in Rock Island, IL.

Responsibilities

• Work with Community Director in managing all maintenance-related and capital improvement activities within an assigned property.
• Inspect, schedule and perform routine preventive maintenance on all appropriate equipment as necessary or as directed by the Community Director.
• Assist management staff in implementing policies, standards, procedures and programs relating to the overall maintenance and upkeep of the property.
• Communicate effectively with employees, residents, vendors and co workers.
• Respond to work orders promptly (within 24 hours) and efficiently.
• Share on call responsibilities on a rotating basis.
• Perform any other related task assigned by Community Director.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of property maintenance experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills.
• HVAC certification and strong working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and appliances.
• Valid driver's license, automobile insurance and reliable transportation.
• Own tools.
• Full physical capability to walk around the property, lift heavy items and perform required physical tasks.
