The Role

We're looking for a Facilities Team Member to keep our site safe, tidy and fully operational. You'll be hands-on with general maintenance and repairs, routine inspections and day-to-day facilities support - the kind of person who spots a problem early and just gets on and sorts it.

What you'll do:
  • Perform general maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, carpentry and garden maintenance
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards
  • Ensure cleanliness and organisation of all common areas, including the yard and operations areas
  • Assist with setting up meetings and office relocations
  • Monitor and replenish facility supplies, including cleaning materials and office essentials
  • Respond to maintenance requests from departments in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with external contractors and service providers as needed
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Operate and maintain tools, equipment and machinery safely and efficiently
  • Support emergency response procedures, including fire drills and evacuation plans
What you'll bring:
  • High school GCSEs or equivalent; technical training is a plus
  • Previous experience in facilities maintenance, janitorial work or a related field is preferred, with basic knowledge of tools and plant equipment
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, garden equipment and plant equipment
  • Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment safely
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • A practical, hands-on approach across plumbing, carpentry and general maintenance tasks
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple requests
  • A safety-first mindset and awareness of site compliance requirements
  • Reliability, flexibility and a willingness to muck in wherever needed
  • A varied, hands-on role where every day brings something different
  • A supportive team that values reliability and initiative
  • The chance to make a real, visible difference to how the site runs
  • Genuine opportunities to develop your skills further
