As a Facilities Assistant, you'll be a key player in keeping the Home safe and fully functional. With your practical expertise, you'll take pride in tackling repairs, whether it's fixing plumbing, ensuring fire doors and lighting are working, or handling other maintenance tasks. You'll respond swiftly to challenges, working closely with the Facilities Manager to ensure safety and comfort. If you're resourceful, adaptable, and thrive on solving problems with a hands on approach, you'll fit right in.

As a Facilities Assistant, you'll be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, responding to repair requests and ensuring the Home remains safe and functional. This includes checking water temperatures, testing electrical equipment and handling plumbing repairs. You'll also help ensure fire safety and complete minor carpentry work, working alongside the Facilities Manager to keep the Home running smoothly.
This role is key to maintaining a safe, secure, and well functioning Home, ensuring that residents can live with peace of mind in a comfortable environment.
