Facilities & Property Lead

The Facilities & Property Lead is a key member of the Facilities Team, playing a pivotal role in ensuring buildings used by Cheeverstown meet the highest standards. The post holder will manage Cheeverstown's expanding property/facilities portfolio (residential houses, respite houses and New Directions) and ensure it meets the needs of persons with a disability to live in, and be supported from.

Working closely with the Facilities & Property Manager, the post holder will have operational responsibility for properties, inclusive of conducting inspections, coordinating repairs, maintenance, and managing vendor procurement and vendor relationships. The post holder will also support the delivery of the Cheeverstown Strategic Priorities and provide supports within a community model of service.

It is fundamental that the desired individual demonstrates excellent ability to work with people, to inspire confidence, influence others and places high importance on maintaining good communication with multiple stakeholders.

The role will be paid as per the HSE Consolidated Pay Scales at Grade VI Clerical Officer scale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections and assessments of properties.
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Manage vendor procurement and vendor relationships.
  • Support delivery of strategic priorities and community model services.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role.
  • Strong management skills.
  • Full driving licence and willingness to drive as part of the role.
  • Relevant 3rd level qualification or willingness to undertake further training.
  • Residence in Ireland and eligibility to work in Ireland.
