This is your opportunity to play a pivotal role in one of Belfast's recent boutique hotel openings.

The Bedford Hotel Belfast will be a prestigious boutique hotel set within the iconic Scottish Mutual Building in the heart of the city. With 82 beautifully appointed bedrooms, a destination restaurant, café/bar, and exclusive private dining rooms, The Bedford Hotel Belfast is setting new standards for hospitality in Northern Ireland.

Role Responsibilities

AsFood & Beverage Supervisor, you willsupporttheFood & Beverage managementteamto ensure quality service and standards while delivering a guest experience that is unique.The key responsibilities of the role will include but not be limited to:

  • Daily supervision of the Food & Beverage areas, ensuringboth standards and guest expectationsaremaintained.
  • Supervisingthe day-to-day staffing requirements,planningand assigning tasks, whilstestablishingperformance and development goals for your team members.
  • To empower the team to be able to handle all guest feedback,provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback.
  • Be part of the team with a visible presence on the floor throughout service times to ensure the standards are met.
  • To be a welcoming host to our guests.anticipatingguestneeds whenever possible and reactingto these to enhanceguestsatisfaction, ensuring all guests expectations are exceeded.
  • Deliver effective training and development for your teamensuringall employees are inducted and trained according to Company standards.
  • Drive sales to maximise food revenue, ensuring budgets are met.
  • Ensure all procedures & day-to-day performancecomply withlegislativeandhotel guidelines e.g. Health & Safety, Food Handling & Hygiene Legislation etc.
  • To support in the control of costs through correct stock usage, storage, rotation, par stock levels, purchase ordersystemsand minimising wastage as per Company standards.
  • Complete anyother reasonable tasks as delegated by your Line Manager.

Key Requirements

  • PreviousFood & Beveragesupervisory experience, preferably within a hotel environment.
  • Excellentcustomer service skills, standards driven, good organisational skills
  • Excellent leadership skills with a hands-on approach and lead-by-example work style.
  • Flexibility - to enjoy working different shift patterns and seeing the operation on different days of the week including the weekends.
