Job Title: EYFS Teaching Assistant

Pay Rate: £14.25 - £16.00 per hour

A welcoming and well-resourced primary school in Blackburn is seeking a committed EYFS Teaching Assistant to support children across Nursery and Reception. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a nurturing, play-based environment and is passionate about early childhood development.

• Supporting the delivery of the EYFS curriculum

• Assisting with classroom preparation, activities, and daily routines

• Providing one-to-one and small-group support

• Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional development

• Working collaboratively with the class teacher and wider EYFS team

• Experience working with children in an EYFS or early years setting

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A patient, caring, and proactive approach

• Understanding of early learning milestones

• Supportive leadership and staff team

• Ongoing training and development

• A clear pathway to a permanent role
