We are seeking an enthusiastic and nurturing EYFS Teacher to join our welcoming primary school in Sheffield, working within our Reception class. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate practitioner to inspire young learners at the very start of their educational journey.
You will play a key role in delivering a high-quality Early Years curriculum, creating a stimulating, safe, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons in line with the EYFS framework
- Support children's development across all areas of learning
- Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
- Use observation and assessment to monitor progress and inform planning
- Work closely with teaching assistants and other staff
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers
- Contribute to the wider life of the school
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience or a strong interest in Early Years / Reception teaching
- Demonstrates a sound understanding of the EYFS framework
- Is creative, energetic, and passionate about early childhood education
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills
- Is committed to high standards of teaching and learning
- Works well as part of a team and contributes positively to school life
