At Elk Recruitment, we are looking for a driven External Sales Representative specialising in insulation products to join our client's growing team. As an External Sales Rep focusing on insulation, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing an existing customer base, and presenting our high-quality insulation solutions to contractors, builders, and distributors. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of insulation products and their applications, enabling them to effectively address client needs and provide tailored recommendations.

Your new role includes:

• Identify and develop new sales opportunities within assigned territories.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers and key accounts.
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close sales and maximise profitability.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and new product developments.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management on a regular basis.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in external sales, preferably in insulation or related building materials.
• Strong knowledge of insulation products, applications, and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Self-motivated and results-driven with a strong work ethic and persistence.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a field sales role.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned sales territory.
• Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office suite to track sales activities.
