We are recruiting an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant in Sunderland to support pupils with a range of additional needs in a specialist setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 and small group SEN support
  • Support pupils with ASD, SEMH, and complex needs
  • Implement behaviour strategies consistently
  • Work closely with teachers and SENCOs
  • Help create a calm and structured environment
Skills & Qualities
  • Proven SEN experience in schools or similar settings
  • Confident managing behaviour and emotional needs
  • Calm, patient, and resilient
  • Driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
