Experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant - Makaton

Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant with Makaton skills?

Protocol Education is working alongside specialist schools across Sunderland that are looking for experienced LSAs to support pupils with Autism, communication needs and complex learning difficulties.

What you'll be doing:

• Delivering tailored 1:1 and small-group support.
• Supporting pupils using Makaton and visual communication strategies.
• Helping pupils develop confidence, communication and independence.
• Working collaboratively with teachers and therapists to achieve EHCP outcomes.

Experience supporting pupils with ASC, PECS, AAC or communication needs would be highly beneficial.

Please note this role is full time.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
