Job Description
 Property Manager
Harrogate, £30,000
Overall PurposeTo provide a professional property management service across a portfolio of residential properties in Harrogate/Leeds. Act as the main point of contact for landlords and tenants, ensuring compliance, smooth tenancy operations, and high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of residential rental properties in Harrogate and Leeds.
 - Act as the main contact for tenants and landlords, handling queries and resolving issues promptly.
 - Arrange and oversee maintenance and repair work, liaising with approved contractors.
 - Conduct property inspections, inventories, check-ins and check-outs.
 - Ensure compliance with landlord & tenant legislation, including safety checks (gas, fire, electrical), deposit protection, and tenancy documentation.
 - Manage rent collection, monitor arrears, and ensure timely payments to landlords.
 - Prepare tenancy agreements and maintain accurate property records.
 - Liaise with lettings negotiators, accounts teams, and compliance officers where needed.
 - Keep landlords updated on market conditions, rental valuations, and legislation changes.
 - Deliver high standards of customer service at all times.
 
- Experience in residential property management or lettings.
 - Knowledge of UK property legislation (tenancy law, safety standards, deposit schemes).
 - Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
 - Excellent communication and customer service skills.
 - Ability to resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
 - IT proficiency, including property management software and MS Office.
 - Driving licence
