Job Description
Anderselite are seeking 2 detail-oriented and innovative Architectural Technologists or Technical Architects to join our design team. The ideal candidates will have a strong and proven understanding of architectural design, building technology, and construction methods, and will play a key role in producing technical drawings, NBS Chorus specifications, and documentation for a wide range of projects. One position requires a minimum of 2/3 years of experience, and the other requires 5-10 years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and develop detailed construction drawings, specifications, and 3D models using BIM software (e.g., Revit).
- Ensure designs comply with building regulations, codes, and health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other consultants/clients to deliver projects from concept to completion.
- Assist in site works by answering construction queries and reporting throughout the construction phase.
- Coordinate in BIM environment with consultants and suppliers to ensure integration of structural, mechanical, and electrical systems, including clash detection software.
- Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Resolve technical and design challenges with creative, practical solutions.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, materials, and construction technologies.
Requirements:
- Degree in Architectural Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience in architectural technology or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Revit software; knowledge of AutoCAD and other CAD software is a benefit.
- Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and statutes.
- Excellent technical drawing and detailing skills.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Membership in CIAT (or working toward membership) is a benefit but not mandatory.
