# Job - Experience Support AssistantEdinburgh,ScotlandFull timeJR Job Description Experience Support Assistant Johnnie Walker - Princes Street, Edinburgh Full Time, permanent Closing Date: 6th April 2026 Purpose of Role The Experience Support Team are critical for the day-to-day guided visits and sampling operations at the Johnnie Walker Experience. This position is responsible for stock control, coordinating equipment and supplies preparation, setup, and clean-up of all front- and back-of-house areas that support the tour and tasting experience to ultimately deliver memorable experiences for our guests. Top Accountabilities Possess detailed understanding of all experiences' equipment and supply needs Implement continuous setup and cleanup of tasting rooms and areas for each experience offering Maintain clean and orderly visitor-facing areas Ensure sanitation and cleaning requirements are followed at all times Continuously supervise tasting inventory Accurately record stock levels at the set times in each support area Assist with ensuring that storage rooms are clean, organized, accurately stocked Supervise tour guide timing to ensure timely rotation Respond promptly to visitor and staff needs Complete assignments in a timely manner and within Johnnie Walker Experience standards Understand and follow all established operating procedures to exceed operational requirements and ensure visitors and staff receive the highest standards of quality, safety, and service. Have a proven understanding of fire extinguisher and first aid kit procedures Maintain continued interest in the Johnnie Walker Brand Home's exhibits and informative content to better fulfill your duties Adhere to all Health & Safety and Food Hygiene standards Assist in the training of new staff Maintain good attendance and communicate with supervisory staff on scheduling issues Participate in educational opportunities for personal growth and development, including cross training opportunities Perform other duties as assigned, such as rotating into other areas like Bar/ Retail to support Skills Qualifications and Experience required Experience in hospitality, food & beverage, or wine/spirits industry Deep passion for whisky and its use within cocktails Strong Team Player Strong desire to learn more about our whisky story, brand, and its characteristics Strong communication and organizational skills Excellent Time Management skills Desire to work in a fast-paced environment Proficient Spoken English, Additional languages are beneficial Be guided by a customer-first mindset Be familiar with visitor experience best practices and procedures Requires considerable movement around the site to monitor activities Must be flexible with work schedule including weekends, holidays, and evening Working with Us Join us and you can also expect a highly competitive and flexible rewards and benefits package including: Product allowance and membership discounts Contributory pension scheme Competitive annual bonus (dependent on performance) Generous holiday allowanceCelebrating our inclusive and diverse culture is core to Diageo's purpose of "celebrating life every day everywhere".
