Key Responsibilities: As an Executive Housekeeping Manager, your day to day will be driven by our guests' needs; however, you can expect to cover the following duties and responsibilities (not all encompassing).

  • Supporting and reporting into our Director of Operations by managing the Housekeeping Team, training and developing them to provide an excellent level of standards.
  • Creating and managing the Housekeeping rota to ensure efficient cover whilst staying within budget goals and requirements.
  • Recruiting and training new starters to the Housekeeping Team, building your team and managing turnover.
  • Focusing on continuous improvement, creating a culture where team members can speak up to make suggestions on how to improve departmental efficiencies.
  • Working closely with the wider Hotel Team to work as "one team" in managing the hotel's goals and expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience and Leadership: Proven experience in senior housekeeping management within the hospitality industry, demonstrating strong leadership skills and leading by example.
  • Attention to Detail and Organisational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail to uphold high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the property, combined with excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Communication and Problem Solving Abilities: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with staff and other departments, along with the ability to address and resolve issues promptly, ensuring a seamless guest experience.

Knowledge of Standards and Budget Management: Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices in housekeeping, as well as experience in managing budgets and controlling costs related to housekeeping operations to optimize efficiency and quality.
