Executive Chief Digital Information Officer

Opening to be filled over a 12 month term, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape future healthcare delivery through the implementation of our ambitious Digital and Data Strategy and the rollout of the new NerveCentre Electronic Patient Record (EPR).

Responsibilities- Lead the execution of the digital strategy, including deployment of a unified Trust EPR & PAS system.
- Provide strategic leadership to digital, data and health records teams.
- Drive a Trust wide digital first culture and ensure alignment with organisational priorities.
- Strengthen key internal and external partnerships to support UHDB's ambition to be recognised nationally as a digital exemplar.
- Serve as a role model and promote collaborative leadership behaviours that uphold our values of Compassion, Openness and Excellence.
- Engage effectively with our workforce to develop the digital strategy and deliver a successful digital transformation.
- Education to degree level in computer science or a related subject.
- Track record of successful implementation of the NerveCentre EPR.
- Experience of implementing a new digital system in a large and complex organisation.
- Experience of working effectively with partner organisations and across systems to implement material change improving care for patients and the experience of colleagues.
- An ability to engage effectively with our workforce to develop our digital strategy and deliver a successful digital transformation and implementation.
