Job Description

CREGG is currently seeking a dedicated and professional Executive Assistant to join our client who are a leading company in their respective field based at their offices in Roscommon Town. You will provide high-level support to the Managing Director across business, operational and personal administration.

Location: Roscommon Town - fully onsite role. This role would be best suited to someone who is based in the Roscommon, Athlone, Longford, Leitrim or North/East Galway region and within commutable distance to our clients' offices.
Reporting to: Managing Director
Duration: Full-time Permanent

The Role: This is a critical role within a fast-growing and ambitious business. The successful candidate will become a trusted right-hand support to the Managing Director, helping create greater organisation, structure, prioritisation and follow-through across both business and personal responsibilities.
This role requires somebody highly organised, proactive, discreet and capable of operating in a fast-paced owner-managed environment.

Executive Support
  • Manage the Managing Director's diary, meetings and scheduling
  • Manage and prioritise emails and communications
  • Draft correspondence and responses on behalf of the Managing Director
  • Prepare meeting agendas, presentations and briefing documents
  • Attend meetings, take notes and track actions
  • Ensure follow-up and accountability across management team
Business Co-ordination
  • Assist with internal communication and organisation
  • Support ongoing projects and business initiatives
  • Prepare reports, summaries and presentations
  • Organise travel, accommodation and logistics
  • Improve systems, workflows and administrative efficiency
  • Help implement productivity and AI-based organisational tools where beneficial
Personal & Family Administration
  • Manage personal administration and scheduling
  • Assist with travel and holiday organisation
  • Co-ordinate appointments, reminders and family logistics
  • Manage bills, subscriptions, expenses and related administration
  • Support general life organisation and personal tasks as required
Confidential Support
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information professionally
  • Assist with HR and people-related administration where required
  • Maintain discretion and professionalism at all times
Skills & Experience Required
  • You will at least 3-5 years previous experience in an Executive Assistant, Senior PA or Business Support role.
  • Experience supporting senior leadership team & C-suite.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and organisational software skills essential.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple priorities with calm efficiency and deal effectively with queries from diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational, communication & interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment is required.
  • High attention to detail while being proactive and solutions focused.
  • Capable of diplomatically managing follow-through with managers and staff.
  • A high level of discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
