- THE ROLE -

To provide a comprehensive professional secretarial and support service to the Pro-Vice-Chancellor & Executive Dean (PVC & ED) for Global Partnerships. The post holder will assist with the coordination of clerical activities associated with the business of the PVC & ED, and will take responsibility for the development and maintenance of effective systems, processes, and procedures. Additionally, the post holder will contribute to projects, and organise/coordinate events and activities, within the Office for Global Engagement.

- ABOUT YOU -

- A good standard of numeracy and literacy either by qualification (GCSE English and Maths at Grace C or equivalent) or evidenced by work-related activities.
- Experience in a personal administrative capacity in support of a senior manager, including working with sensitive and confidential material.
- Experience of electronic diary management for a senior manager in a large organisation who works across multiple locations, including making travel arrangements.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to use appropriate tact and diplomacy.
- Experience of working independently (without direct supervision) and evidence of the ability to work as part of a team.
