Job Description

Exam Invigilators (Ad Hoc / Seasonal)
Location: Shropshire area
Start Date: Immediate / Ongoing throughout exam season
Pay: Competitive hourly rate

We are currently seeking reliable and attentive Exam Invigilators to support a well-regarded secondary school during the upcoming exam season. This is a flexible, ad hoc role, ideal for individuals looking for part-time work that can fit around other commitments.

As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a key role in ensuring that examinations are conducted in a calm, fair, and secure environment in line with regulations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Distributing and collecting exam papers
  • Ensuring exam conditions are maintained at all times
  • Assisting with setting up and clearing exam venues
  • Supporting students where required, in line with guidelines

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be reliable, punctual, and organised
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Be able to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Follow instructions and procedures carefully
  • Be confident working independently and as part of a team

Previous experience is not essential, as full training will be provided. This role is particularly suited to those with flexible availability during school hours.
