The role

Arena International Events Group is looking for an Events Marketing Coordinator to join its expanding team. Arena International Events, part of the GlobalData, runs 25 international conferences and forums every year, with a thriving programme that is always expanding. As an Events Marketing Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting the Head of Marketing in promoting our events through in person and digital channels to increase the number of sponsors and free attendees, as well as supporting event administration across design, content creation, video and client interviews as well as liaising with our journalists and analysts to promote Arena events to GD Audiences.

What you'll be doing

  • Keep event websites up to date
  • Create email and social campaigns using HubSpot manage reporting for each event
  • Lead event promotion campaigns on social media
  • Regularly track and analyse social media activity, open rates of marketing emails and website traffic to determine future marketing strategy
  • Liaise with clients and internal teams regarding pre - event marketing, logos, signage, advertising, print, copy
  • Create client promotional collateral (digital banners/logos/LinkedIn )
  • Establish barter agreements through media partnerships with associations and
  • Publications
  • Maintain and manage databases including Salesforce & Hubspot
  • Support client interviews/photography and filming at events and post event publication

What we're looking for

  • You will ideally have a conference or digital marketing background.
  • Highly organised and self-motivated with the ability to prioritise tasks with a proactive approach
  • Must be able to work accurately, under pressure, to meet strict deadlines.
  • Works well in a team as well as on their own.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills (In English)
  • Great Admins and IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel, Canva, Hubspot
  • Effectively use multiple Social channels to promote events/engagement
  • Online Content and Basic Website Management
  • Data Management
  • Proofreading skills - Excellent Attention to Detail
