Job Description
About the role 
Dvash is seeking a proactive and highly organised Events Assistant to join our catering team. This is an administrative role focused on managing event logistics, client communication, and internal coordination to ensure seamless delivery of high end events.
Due to the nature of the work, we will need a candidate familiar with the laws of Kashrut and Shomer Shabbat.
Key responsibilities- Monitor and respond promptly to new event enquiries, using templates to send tailored proposals, brochures, and sample menus.
- Arrange client meetings and summarise the terms of their package in confirmation forms, issue deposit invoices for accepted proposals.
- Create and manage detailed event sheets, updating regularly with notes from client meetings, site visits, and supplier information.
- Organise site or home visits with clients and venues; coordinate with production and FOH staff to finalise event logistics.
- Maintain and update the event running order, including menus, crockery, glassware, and service details.
- Create packing lists and oversee stock takes and ordering of certain stock for events (i.e. spirits, wine, garnishes, etc.).
- Manage Dvash Deli takeaway orders, process and track orders, and maintain internal records.
- Support social media updates and content creation.
- Highly organised and detail oriented.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Comfortable working independently and with a team.
- Previous experience in events or hospitality is a plus.
