Job Description

Creo initiates and organises events and programming across three key strands: photography, film and contemporary art. Since 2007 Creo's mission has been to develop meaningful opportunities for creatives and expanding the reach of its cultural activities. Today, its flagship projects include the Sony World Photography Awards, Sony Future Filmmaker Awards, PHOTOFAIRS and Photo London. PURPOSE

The ideal candidate would have experience working within operations, production and logistics. Working with the Operations Director the job holder will work across all of the organisation's projects which include the Sony World Photography Awards, Photo London and the Sony Future Filmmaker Awards.

Experience with Health & Safety compliance, exhibition stand build, exhibition curation, events, managing staff and top-level organisation skills. There are multiple projects to juggle, so you will need to be highly organised and will have a hand in virtually every element, from creative planning, sourcing production quotes, setting timelines, identifying onsite requirements, Risk Assessments and Method Statements, client contact, negotiating with suppliers, managing logistics, staff and on-site crews. You will help with day-to-day admin tasks, manage project timelines, staff tasks within the production team and project budgets. Energy and enthusiasm, along with an ability to self-manage is vital, as the role is incredibly varied and the company is fast-paced and ambitious. International travel and site visits will be required at times.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Support the Operations Director in managing all Creo projects.

Operations structure: Operations Director - Operations Mgr - supported by the Senior Operations Executive and Designer.

Managing solo projects as well as providing management support for other projects.

Be the client contact across projects.

Help compile and ensure the teams stick to timelines and priorities, meeting deadlines and delivering results effectively.

Liaise with external contractors, suppliers and partners and manage communications over different time zones.

Ensure each event is planned correctly.

Develop and maintain good working relations with suppliers and partners.

Coordinate with colleagues in the Marketing & PR teams to ensure alignment across all teams.

Assist with the day-to-day running of the production workload. Each event requires administrative work and is split between the production team.

Ensure the server is kept organised for each project.

Manage events onsite, from installation day to de-installation.

Undertake international travel as required.

Ensuring budgets are achieved

Take an active interest in and maintain general knowledge in the visual arts.

PRACTICALITIES

The role is based in the company's London office - 9 Manchester Square, London, W1U 3PL.

We operate a hybrid model with Tue - Thu based in the office and Mon & Fri WFH.

Normal working hours are Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm, during live events and build up hours and days will vary.

You will report directly to the Operations Director. You will be the main Production support in the London office working directly with the Senior Operations Executive as their manager.

Out of hours work at events and international travel will be required.
