Kettyle Irish Foods is a major beef and lamb processor based in Enniskillen, Northern Ireland. The company serves major retailers with ranges of retail products and is heavily involved in developing new products for the retail, manufacturing and food service markets.

ROLE

• To clean and dry all production areas and machinery to an approved quality standard.
• Compliance with prevention of needless waste and ability to complete tasks around production machinery.
• Awareness of food safety culture.
• Willingness to help other members of cleaning team carry out duties when needed.
• Maintaining a supply of cleaning materials and ordering as necessary.
• Adhering to safe working practices in accordance with legislation and company rules and regulations.
• Working in a manner to prevent or minimise the risk of accident to yourself or others.
• Adhering to legislation regarding safe food production.
• Complying with managers/supervisors instructions in a timely manner.

ESSENTIAL QUALITIES

• Experience in a similar role preferably in the food industry
• Thorough and conscientious work aptitude
• Willingness to learn, ability to work as part of a team under minimum supervision
• Availability to work flexible working hours including evenings and weekends.

DESIRABLE QUALITIES

• Food hygiene certificate
• Previous experience using industrial chemicals
• Good understanding of English
