Location: Office Based in Dublin - Will visit sites throughout Europe

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

At Elk Recruitment, we are looking for a driven European General Manager within the Roofing and Cladding industry to join our Dublin client's growing projects across Europe. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced General Manager with experience managing projects abroad to make an impact in an innovative and growing organisation.

Your new role includes:

• Leading our client's entry into Key European markets, collaborating with the COO and Senior Leadership Team.
• Identifying, pursuing, and securing high-value projects in the range of €10-20 million, ensuring full commercial viability
• Recruiting, developing, and leading a European-based operations team, including Contracts Managers, Project Managers, and other critical roles.
• Building and maintaining strategic relationships with developers, general contractors, consultants, and other key stakeholders across the region.
• Driving operational excellence, cost control and risk management while ensuring full compliance with local regulations.
• Delivering clear reports, strategic planning updates and project reviews to the COO and Senior Leadership.

Experience you need:

• Minimum 10 years' experience in a senior leadership role in the roofing industry, ideally with pan-European exposure.
• Proven experience launching, growing or managing international operations and large-scale construction projects.
• Deep understanding of European construction markets, contracts, and commercial frameworks.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Europe.
• Full clean driver's licence required.
• Working knowledge of German and/or another significant European language desirable.
