Job Title: Ethics Manager

Salary: £60,500+ depending on skills and experience
What you'll be doing- Managing the rollout of the annual Business Conduct Training to all employees in your line of business, raising awareness of doing the right thing
- Analysing and identifying emerging ethical issues, trends and reputational risks to inform the Chief Counsel / Senior Management Team and support the Ethics Officers to provide mitigation
- Undertaking the resolution of Submarines ethics cases, acting as a point of escalation from the ethics officer network and providing oversight for ethics-related investigations
- Acting as an ambassador for the Code of Conduct to champion ethical principles and values within the organisation, collaborating with Leaders and Managers and engaging with the workforce across the business to support the integration of ethics and values into daily operations and activities
- Supporting in building trust and confidence amongst employees about the processes to address ethical concerns
- Demonstrated experience as a trusted business partner, working within the Business Conduct field and collaborating across multiple areas of the organisation, including facilitating discussions with stakeholders at varying levels within a Business Unit or Sector
- Ability to identify and interpret trends, and translate insights into practical actions and objectives for internal initiatives
- Sound analytical capability to address and resolve complex issues across a range of challenging situations
- Broad cross-business awareness, with the ability to adapt approaches to align with different operational needs
- Well-developed project management skills, with experience coordinating and delivering initiatives effectively

The Ethics teamAs the Ethics Manager, you will be leading the delivery of the Ethical Business Conduct programme across Submarines in accordance with the BAE Systems Business Conduct Strategy through effective management, communication and reporting against the programme objectives and deliverables. Managing a team of Ethics Advisors, you will also train and lead the volunteer Ethics Officer Network, supporting colleagues across the business in speaking up and increasing awareness of the Code of Conduct. The role will involve working with all levels in business, across different functions and at varying levels of seniority, including Directors, Trade Unions, HR and the general workforce. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
