Lead Estimator Engineering & Construction Location: Blanchardstown, Dublin Type: Permanent Sector: Data Centres / Engineering / Construction An established Irish engineering and built-environment business is looking to appoint an experienced Lead Estimator to join its Dublin team. This is a key role within the pre-construction function, taking ownership of significant tenders from initial enquiry through to final submission and handover. Projects span Data Centres, Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences, Industrial, Commercial and Energy environments. The Role Manage and prepare detailed, commercially robust tenders. Review drawings, specifications and scope requirements. Obtain and assess subcontractor and supplier quotations. Identify commercial risks, exclusions and opportunities. Lead tender reviews and work closely with engineering and delivery teams. Support and mentor junior estimators. About You You ll have strong Mechanical and/or Electrical estimating experience, ideally gained within a main contractor, MEP contractor or engineering services environment. You should be comfortable managing sizeable tenders independently, with strong knowledge of measurement, pricing, subcontractor engagement and commercial analysis
