Estimator

We are searching for an Estimator to join our client, a leading designand build manufacturer operating across Ireland and the UK. Known forinnovation, sustainability, and high-quality engineering, the company offers adynamic environment focused on bespoke, cutting-edge projects. As the Estimator,you will report directly to the Sales and Marketing Director.

What You'll Do:

• Preparedetailed and competitive cost estimates, factoring in materials, labour,equipment, and all relevant project components.
• Review andinterpret project specifications, drawings, and documentation to define scope,assess risks, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Performaccurate quantity take-offs and comprehensive cost analyses to maximise projectprofitability.
• Apply industryexpertise and best practices to recommend value engineering options andcost-saving strategies.
• Workcollaboratively with sales, design, engineering, and production teams to alignon project requirements, timelines, and optimal solutions.
• Build andmaintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to securecompetitive pricing and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Support bidpreparation by participating in reviews, negotiations, and client presentationswhen required.
• Preparetechnical and commercial proposals for submission to clients through the salesteam.
• Develop billsof pricing and ensure all estimating deliverables are completed within agreedtimelines.
• Maintain andmanage the estimating schedule, tracking required submissions and deadlines.
• Contribute tointernal commercial reviews and provide clear, accurate documentation fordecision-making.

Requirements What You'll Need:

• QuantitySurveying qualification.
• 2 years demonstrableestimating experience in the manufacturing or engineering sector.
• Life assuranceand pension.
