Job Description
Estimator
Location: Shildon, County Durham
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and develop close working relationships with clients, architects, contractors.
Prepare detailed estimates by reviewing all the information required to formulate accurate project costings with attention to detail paid to all sections
Review and prepare tender documents, such as project quotations to the client & suppliers.
Present prepared estimates by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical publications & in house project drawings
Responsible for estimating the total project cost, including design, procurement, manufacture and delivery in line with the tender documentation while clearly highlighting any discrepancies
Strive to retain existing clients and ensure the maximum longevity of your relationship with the Company through proactive contact and appropriate relationship development.
Knowledge/ Skills/ Experience:
Experience within a similar role
Experience liaising with architects and main contractors
Experience within the Roofing and Cladding industry would be beneficial although not essential.
