Estimator / Quantity Surveyor

We are looking for an Estimator & Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive Irish company working across security fencing, sports fencing, artificial pitches, groundworks, drainage, civils, floodlighting and sports infrastructure.

Working alongside our Estimating, QS, Contracts and Engineering teams, you will be involved in:

• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documents
• Preparing accurate and competitive tenders
• Quantity take-offs and preparation of BOQs / schedules of rates
• Managing tenders from initial enquiry through to submission
• Liaising with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors
• Cost monitoring and reporting
• Procurement and management of subcontractors
• Valuations, variations, measurements and final accounts
• Site visits and project meetings
• Assisting with project planning and programming

What We're Looking For

• Qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
• Minimum 2 years' relevant experience
• Strong commercial and numerical skills
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
