Estate Officer/CaretakerLocation: N1 9FLHours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pmPay: £13.80 per hour (PAYE) £17.62 Per hour Ltd (Inc Hol Pay)Driving Required - Fleet Van ProvidedOur client, a well-established housing provider, is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Estate Officer to join their team in N1 9FL. This is a field-based position where the successful candidate will be required to drive a fleet van daily and work across multiple estates.The Role On behalf of our client, we are looking for a candidate who can deliver a high-quality, responsive estate management service to residents. You will be responsible for ensuring communal areas are safe, compliant, and free from health and safety risks.A key part of the role will involve supporting local housing teams in achieving Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) targets. Using an online platform, you will review and complete allocated fire safety actions, ensuring all tasks are carried out in line with procedures and within required timeframes.Key Responsibilities 
- Driving a fleet van daily across estates
- Inspecting communal areas and identifying potential risks
- Completing Fire Risk Assessment actions via an online system
- Liaising with residents and Housing Officers to gain access to properties
- Working closely with contractors to ensure works are completed efficiently and to a high standard
- Addressing fire safety and health and safety issues promptly
- Following company procedures and maintaining accurate records
- Hold a valid UK Driving Licence
- Have been driving as a core part of their job role for the last 2-5 years
- Have recent customer service experience
- Ideally have experience within facilities or estate management (desirable but not essential)
- Have a sound understanding of Health & Safety legislation
- Be capable of undertaking manual handling activities
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and a professional, approachable manner
- Be organised, detail-oriented, and able to resolve issues effectively
- Have a positive, "can do" attitude and the ability to build strong working relationships
