Sanctuary provide in-house repairs and maintenance services for an extensive portfolio of properties across Sanctuary organisations. West Bromwich - Covering the West Midlands 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 16:00pmWe are looking for Estate Maintenance Operatives to join our team, based in West Bromwich. The roles will involve both working in a team and lone working. You will be expected to maintain the grounds on set sites on a rota basis. The roles will involve lawn mowing, hedge / shrub pruning and litter picking. We are looking for people who are enthusiastic and well organised team players with good interpersonal skills, who have previous experience in a gardening role and know how to operate garden tools and powered machinery.

The role of Estate Maintenance Operative will include:- Grass cutting, litter picking and garden clearance
- Ad hoc grounds maintenance work
- Removal of bulk waste
- Receiving and completing daily work records on the phone and maintaining stock levels
- Ensuring tools and equipment are kept in a useable condition
- Providing accurate information and updates on the progress of allocated work
- Working knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Previous experience in a domestic / cleaning environment
- This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
