ESG Analyst (Mandarin Speaking, £35k, Investment Management, London)

Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for an ESG Analyst role in an Investment Management firm based in London. The firm's goal is to create a global network of investors by assisting them in using their capacity as ethical stewards of capital to engage in and protect the long-term worth of their investments.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will contribute to the research and engagement strategy in order to help Investor Members improve engagement and stewardship performance.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree or a comparable qualification is required.
• Proven expertise with ESG, sustainability, and/or climate change discussions, as well as a good intellectual understanding of them.
• Demonstrated knowledge of indices, ESG datasets, and index algorithms, as well as traditional methods for incorporating ESG elements into financial portfolios.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• English and Mandarin are both fluent.
• Demonstrated ability to ensure accuracy in data manipulation, analysis, and presentation, as well as a high level of attention to detail.
• Personal characteristics that are appropriate for functioning in a professional team environment.
• Self motivated and capable of working on assignments independently.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
