Job Description

Note: candidate must be based in Belgium and agree to work 8 days/month at the Brussels office

We are looking for an Epic Delivery Owner to join our Innovation team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and maintain epic plans and forecasts, including resource requirements, costs, dependencies, risks, and mitigation actions.
  • Coordinate virtual teams across divisions and entities, including third-party suppliers.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with Product Owners and Scrum Masters in contributing squads, as well as with your stakeholders, providing advice, guidance, and options regarding IT investments.
  • Define epic governance (deliverables, processes, and ceremonies) and oversee the progress and quality of execution.
  • Lead risk, issue, and change-control processes for assigned epics; build action plans to mitigate risks, resolve issues, and track action items.
  • Monitor and report epic progress to Tribe Management and the Sponsorship Committee.
  • Manage epics in line with our company internal standards (methodology and tools) and the Agile Operating Model.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a project management role, with strong mastery of Agile ways of working.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to adapt your style to the situation and to different partners.
  • Good technical and business understanding.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence decisions together with the epic sponsor/client.
  • Excellent communication skills (listening, writing, and presenting) at all levels, from staff members to senior management.
  • Ability to learn quickly in a complex environment and synthesize information.
  • Strong negotiation, conflict management, and influencing skills across different management levels.
  • Ability to delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively while maintaining overall control.
  • Assertive mindset and ability to drive tasks to completion.
  • Experience working with outsourcing/offshoring partners.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
