AFBI are currently recruiting for an EO2 Executive Officer based at AFBI Research Farmed Estates, SAFSD, Hillsborough.

This is a Temporary (Ongoing) position, working 37 hours per week (plus overtime if required), Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with a salary of £15.83 per hour.

Main Purpose

The main purpose of this role is to provide general administrative support to the Farm Office and Head of Branch, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the office.

Main Roles and Responsibilities

1. Providing general administrative support to the Farm Office and Head of Branch.
2. Answering telephone calls, responding to emails and dealing with general enquiries.
3. Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence.
4. Maintaining and updating records, databases and filing systems.

Essential Criteria

(Please note that Platinum Recruitment NI Ltd require original certificates as proof of all qualifications.)

• 2 GCSEs including English and Maths (Grades A -C) or equivalent or higher.

AND

• A minimum of 1 year's experience in a fast-paced administrative environment, providing administrative support to a variety of stakeholders.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of farming or a farming background would be advantageous.
