Environmental Technician

The Best Connection is looking for an Environmental Technician for one of our well-established clients in the Telford area, focused on waste management facilities.

As an Environmental Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Data entry
• Collecting and testing air, water, and soil samples
• Maintaining monitoring equipment, performing site checks, and some manual work
• Preparing technical reports on pollution, waste, and contamination

The role requires previous experience in a similar role, proficiency in Excel, and confidence using computer systems. Due to the location, candidates must have their own transport.

Working hours are 7:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. This is potentially a temp-to-perm role, with a starting pay rate of £12.21 per hour and a pay increase after the probation period
