Environment Health & Safety Officer

Occupli is supporting a leading global manufacturing organisation in Cork to recruit an EHS Specialist focused on driving safety standards and coordinating a critical Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) programme.

The Role

Play a key role in maintaining high EHS standards across a fast-paced manufacturing site, with a strong focus on LOTO compliance, behavioural safety, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and develop the site LOTO programme, including procedures, training, and audits
• Partner with Maintenance & Production to ensure safe systems of work
• Support and drive behavioural safety initiatives
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate EHS standards
• Support delivery of key EHS and site improvement projects

Requirements

• Degree in Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field
• Experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
• Knowledge of LOTO systems (highly desirable)
• Strong communication skills and ability to deliver training
• Comfortable working with data, reporting, and MS Office tools
