The Role:
Lexology PRO has seen high double digit growth for the past two years on a "land and expand" strategy for new logo acquisition. During this time we have seen increasing demand for API delivery of our core content, for which we have a small number of solutions, and delivery to organisations across the enterprise. We are looking to hire an Enterprise Sales Manager, Lexology PRO, to join our Practice Intelligence GTM division, helping drive the sales of, and retention of clients of, Lexology PRO. The role will report into the Head of Sales, Lexology PRO. The key drives for the role are:
- Leading on API and Enterprise sales effort to both new logo and incumbent client prospects
- Leading on own individual Sales as above and guiding the activity of others globally on same
- Acting as the Lead channel for liaison to and from Product regarding API best practice, collateral build and client implementation.
- Initiate, develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to win new business.
- Complete Account Management activities as and when required including, but not limited to, develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, identify opportunities to upsell and upgrade, and support the renewal cycle.
- Work with your colleagues in the company to ensure highest standards of delivery and regularly identify opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling to increase company revenue.
- Demonstrate in-depth market and sector knowledge of clients and competitors that is shared within the company to enhance client experience and product development.
- Deliver effective communications, which can be adjusted depending on the product and audience.
- Update the CRM to ensure the CRM accurately reflects your sales activity through the buying stage to move Leads and Opportunities to Closed Won or Closed Lost status.
- Ensure your clients have signed contract and orders are processed in accordance with GDPR regulation
- Assist in developing and implement plans to maximise new business opportunities by developing sales to meet revenue targets.
- Attend client meetings and communicate new product developments, obtaining client feedback.
- Develop strong cross-organisational relationships with key stakeholders (editorial, content, marketing, finance, product, team leaders etc.)
- Act as a mentor to junior members the team and division, help to support their training, and ensure they are embedded within the team and business.
- Network with clients, attend industry events to build strategic relationships to enhance brand and opportunities for new business.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, in particular a highly professional telephone manner.
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve targets

- Customer focused - excellent understanding of customer needs alongside business drivers and experience of using that knowledge to set priorities, solve operational issues and drive revenue growth.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and action-oriented mindset.
- Some broad knowledge of SaaS/hosting/web technologies and API/file based integration approach would be advantageous but not essential
- It is an advantage to have worked in the Financial Services industry, the Legal industry or a software company in a different industry, but neither are mandatory.
