About the role:
This is a key role within LifeArc to evolve our Enterprise technology ecosystem across finance, HR, procurement, funding, marketing, communications and partnership relationship management. The role will align the technology roadmap with business outcomes and drive maximum value for LifeArc from existing and new technology, AI, automation and data products. As Enterprise Lead, you will lead end to end delivery, operations and continuous improvement of these platform solutions.
As part of this role, you will lead on the development of the roadmap in partnership with business leaders and SMEs, and will be responsible for a portfolio of projects and services that enable effective and efficient management of enterprise operations across LifeArc. This role will drive the definition and delivery of application, integration and continuous improvement initiatives, establishing a robust service model, driving simplification and security by design.
You will also lead a small team as part of this role both direct and through cross functional matrix teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive the creation and evolution of the enterprise platform strategy and vision, ensuring alignment with organisational digital, data and technology goals.
- Develop and execute a long term roadmap and architecture that evolves platform capabilities to meet changing priorities.
- Form, hire and manage a small team with the necessary skills, leading them effectively within a matrix structure.
- Work closely with the wider technology team, SMEs, business users and executive leadership to align platform initiatives with organisational objectives.
- Assess, recommend and continuously enhance platform solutions and services to meet stakeholder needs.
- Track and communicate platform business outcomes, ensuring investments deliver measurable value and service levels are achieved or exceeded.
- Ensure platform solutions are secure, reliable and compliance with regulatory and policy requirements, manage operational risk, and maintain strong enterprise data quality in partnership with data leads.
Essential experience required:
- Experience delivering value lead, modular and integrated enterprise application of ERP implementations within a similar type of organisation
- Strong stakeholder collaboration and customer centric design including the ability to assess needs and opportunities, applying usability, UX and outcome focused thinking to maximise technology value.
- Skilled in preparing clear, compelling presentations and business cases that build alignment and secure stakeholder support
- Demonstrated ability to lead matrixed teams across technology, business, PMO and suppliers, including effective selection and management of third party partners.
- An ability to work in an agile environment with a hands on and adaptable approach to navigate competing stakeholder needs, create clarity, and apply structured, design principles based approaches alongside architecture.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience
- An interest or background in Life Sciences would be beneficial

- Shapes technology strategies that directly impact business growth and competitive advantage, leading with architectural roadmaps for platform domains.
- Ability to lead cross functional collaborations.
- Shapes enterprise wide innovation strategies, embedding design thinking into business transformation
- Comfortable with ambiguity and changing requirements, which are common both in tech and business environments.
