Role: Enterprise Business Development Manager

Location: National | Reporting to: Chief Commercial Officer

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 + Double OTE + Car Allowance

Work Pattern: Full-time | Hybrid Working Available

Summary

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for winning high-value business? We're looking for an experienced Enterprise Business Development Manager to drive growth across enterprise and larger mid-market segments.

This is a senior, client-facing role where you'll independently manage the full sales cycle-from lead engagement to deal closure-while building long-term, high-impact partnerships with gold-tier and strategic clients.

The Role

  • Enterprise New Business Development: Identify, qualify and close complex, high-value opportunities
  • End-to-End Deal Ownership: Lead the full sales process, including contract negotiation
  • Strategic Selling: Engage senior stakeholders and align solutions to business challenges
  • Campaign Collaboration: Partner with marketing to shape and execute targeted outreach
  • Tender & RFP Engagement: Lead or support formal bid responses with compelling submissions
  • Solution Shaping: Work with pre-sales and technical teams to build viable solutions
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts and opportunity tracking
  • Reporting & Insight: Provide regular updates to the Chief Commercial Officer
  • Target Achievement: Consistently exceed ambitious new business targets

Essential Experience

  • 3-5 years' experience in enterprise sales or strategic account management within MSP/IT services
  • Proven success in closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals
  • Strong understanding of managed services, Microsoft Cloud, security and digital transformation
  • Commercial acumen with experience in deal structuring and ROI modelling
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and sales platforms

Desirable:

  • Experience with tender responses and RFP submissions
  • Collaboration with marketing on campaign strategy
  • Familiarity with strategic sales methodologies
  • Degree in Business, IT or related field
