We are looking for a proven Enterprise Account Executive to drive net-new strategic business in the UKI retail sector. Reporting to the Enterprise Sales Director, you will own the end-to-end engagement with senior executives, identify transformational opportunities, and lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from first conversation to value delivery.
This role is about unlocking long-term growth with our most strategic prospects in retail. You'll combine your network of C-level relationships with an ability to challenge the status quo, frame value in business terms, and orchestrate cross-functional resources to ensure success.
What you will do- Own a defined list of strategic retail prospects in UKI and build account strategies that target all critical buying centers.
- Drive net-new revenue by applying Command of the Message, MEDDIC, and solution selling to uncover pain, align value, and accelerate decision-making.
- Engage confidently with C-suite and senior decision-makers to shape strategy and influence technology roadmaps.
- Build and present business cases that clearly link the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform to measurable retail outcomes.
- Manage both quick wins and complex, multi-quarter sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
- Partner closely with technical teams, marketing, customer success, and cloud hyperscaler partners (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to co-sell and co-deliver.
- Maintain accurate deal progression, forecasting, and activity tracking in Salesforce.
Identify whitespace, prioritise high-value use cases, and drive from discovery to closure.
- Proven track record consistently exceeding enterprise sales targets in retail or consumer-facing industries.
- Deep knowledge of the UKI retail landscape, with an existing network of C-level relationships.
Experience selling Data, AI, cloud, or advanced analytics solutions into large enterprise accounts. - Demonstrated success with usage-based SaaS models and cloud co-selling motions.
- Mastery of enterprise sales methodologies (MEDDIC, Command of the Message, solution selling) and how to apply them in complex environments.
- Skilled at navigating fast-paced, high-growth organisations and aligning cross-functional teams.
- Clear, confident communicator able to articulate complex technical value in simple commercial terms.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
