Barking & Dagenham College is seeking Enrolment Support Officers to join our Admissions team during our busy enrolment period.

You will join us on a fixed-term, variable hours basis, up to 27 hours per week. The working hours/pattern are based around the enrolment schedule, which will include some evenings and Saturdays.

The role will commence 11th August 2026 up until 12th September 2026.

In return, we will offer a competitive salary of £14.53 - £16.08 per hour in London Weighting, plus accrued holiday pay.

The Enrolment Officer Role:

To provide an efficient, data compliant service to supporting the enrolment of applicants to BDC. The role supports the data entry of learners details into the College Learner Record System, assessing their eligibility to study and fee remission where appropriate. The post holder will be required to have a keen eye for data accuracy, and be IT literate.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of the admissions and enrolments service for learners.
  • Process fully completed learning agreements by accurately entering their details into the College Learner Record System.
  • Participate in college recruitment events as required.
What We're Looking For:
  • Excellent Data Entry Skills
  • Excellent customer service experience.
  • General level of education to at least Level 3 is desirable.
  • Experience of working within the Data Protection Act and dealing with confidential issues.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of the further and/or education curriculum.
  • Experience of working with 16-19 year olds and young adults is desirable.
  • A strong team player with a supportive and helpful approach.
