English Teacher - Bolton Full-Time September 2026 - Christmas 2026

Negotiable pay rates from M1-M6 (at the school's discretion)

Choice Teachers are currently working with a well regarded secondary school in Bolton to recruit a full time English Teacher starting in September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and welcoming English department in a long term role running until Christmas 2026, with the potential to be extended.

The Role

• Teach English across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Plan and deliver engaging, well structured lessons
• Assess, monitor and support student progress
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Work collaboratively with the wider English department
• Uphold the school's high expectations for behaviour and achievement

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• A genuine passion for English and helping students reach their full potential

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
• Have the right to work in the UK
• Be able to provide two professional references covering the last two years
• Satisfy all safeguarding and pre employment vetting checks in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) guidance
