Are you a passionate and dedicated English Teacher looking to inspire students across Northumberland? We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated English Teachers to deliver engaging and high-quality lessons, helping students develop confidence in reading, writing, and communication across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.

Whether you are looking for short-term supply, long-term placements, or a permanent opportunity, this role offers flexibility and strong support throughout your teaching journey.

The Opportunity
  • Teach English Language and Literature across KS3, KS4, and KS5
  • Work within secondary schools and colleges across Northumberland
  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons aligned with the curriculum
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations where applicable
What We're Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school or college
  • Strong subject knowledge across English Language and Literature
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
