We are working with a welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in East Grinstead who are seeking a talented English Teacher to join their team from Easter through to the end of the academic year (July 2026).

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a supportive department with strong leadership, engaged students, and excellent classroom behaviour.

• Teaching English across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)

• Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons

• Marking and assessment in line with school policy

• Contributing positively to a collaborative English department

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification

• Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school

• Strong classroom management

• Passionate about literature and language, with the ability to inspire learners

• Supportive SLT and experienced department

• Well-resourced classrooms

• Positive learning environment

• Potential for longer-term opportunities
