Start Date: September 2026
Placement Length: Two terms (September 2026 - Easter 2027)

Key Responsibilities

• Teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that motivate learners.
• Assess, monitor and report on student progress.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development.
• Participate in parents' evenings and departmental meetings.

Pre-requisites

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching English within a secondary setting.
• Strong subject knowledge.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Ability to inspire students of varying abilities.
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
