Are you a passionate English Teacher looking for a new full-time opportunity from September?

We are working with a secondary school in Middlesbrough seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis, teaching across KS3 and KS4.

The Role

As an English Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Inspire students to develop their reading, writing, communication and analytical skills
• Prepare students effectively for GCSE examinations
• Differentiate lessons to meet a range of abilities and learning needs
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
• Establish positive relationships with students and maintain high expectations
• Contribute to a supportive and collaborative English department

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an English Teacher who:

• Has experience teaching English at secondary level
• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Has strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
• Is confident with GCSE English Language and Literature
• Has excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Can create engaging, inclusive and purposeful lessons
• Is committed to raising attainment and supporting every student's progress
• Is available for a full-time position from September

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced English Teacher or ECT looking to secure a full-time role within a supportive Middlesbrough secondary school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
