Job Description
We are currently recruiting an experienced Engineering Technician to join an onsite production team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with solid assembly line experience who takes pride in quality, accuracy, and safety.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling mechanical and/or electrical components in line with engineering specifications, testing completed assemblies, and troubleshooting any faults to ensure products meet strict quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble parts and components in accordance with technical and engineering drawings.
- Test completed assemblies to ensure correct operation.
- Inspect finished products and identify defects or faults.
- Investigate, diagnose, and repair assembly issues as required.
- Replace defective or faulty components.
- Carry out basic maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Ensure all health and safety regulations and procedures are strictly followed.
- Maintain clear communication with team members and supervisors.
Skills & Experience Required
- 4-7 years' experience working in an assembly or manufacturing environment.
- Proven assembly line experience (essential).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Competent in the safe use of hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety.
- Good communication skills and ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
