Engineering Team Leader

As an Engineering Team Leader, your role will include the co-ordination of engineering activities to efficiently cover breakdowns, support production and complete planned preventative maintenance.

Reporting to: Main responsibilities

• Leading, developing and motivating direct reports
• Co-ordinating and monitoring planned preventative maintenance ensuring that remedial work is completed in a timely manner
• Covering breakdowns and supporting production, providing improvement information to the Senior Engineer
• Monitoring the Engineering Parts Store to ensure stock is to the required amount
• Participating in project work ensuring deadlines are met and work is to a high-quality standard
• Completing electrical fault finding, programming of drives, replacement and set up of electrical components, and safe systems of work

Our ideal candidate will have the following

• Hold recognised Engineering qualifications in electrical and mechanical subjects
• Experience in a similar role with focus on planned preventative maintenance
• Experience leading a team in a similar environment
• Excellent planning skills, organisational and communication skills
• Computer literate with Microsoft packages e.g. Word/Excel/Outlook
• Competent in electrical fault finding and safe systems of work
• Valid forklift license ITSSAR, AITT or RTITB standard
